I used to always watch the Mickey Mouse Club when I was young. Between the Davey Crockett series, Johnny Tremain, Etc. they ran plus the Marx sets, is where I first got my love of history and toy soldiers. I also love to go to Disney World in Florida. But I was never a fan of Mickey Mouse. |

I neither hate nor love Mickey Mouse. I do love trips to Disneyland and Disneyworld, and appreciate and am a fan of many of Disney's movies and TV shows, just as there are Disney movies and TV shows I don't like. So I'm generally positive about Mickey and Disney, and think on balance they have had a pretty positive influence on most people. Is everything they do great (or even good)? No. Nor is everything they do bad, either.
If they entertain you, terrific!
If they don't, well, okay. Watch something else. (Duh.) Seriously, being a grouch about an innocuous cartoon character is a waste of time and effort. |
