It is highly probably that the Registration Check In at Fall In will include a speed lane for pre-reg people who have received and brought their square QR Code. Unless I am much mistaken, these codes don't look to have been sent. I haven't gotten one. At a recent convention they weren't sent until right before the con began. In the interest of smooth sailing, it might be good to have these sent. Some of us luddites still have flip phones that don't do modern technology. @WarWiz, At one or two of the last cons, they sent a last minute email with the QR Code. You just cue up the code on your device, and wave it, or a piece of paper with the code printed on it, under a code reader and your badge prints out. No need to interact with a person. It's a good bit faster, assuming you have the code. I got one for one con, I think for Historicon, but had no idea what it was for and had no way to display it when I got there. |

I pre-registered and didn't get one either. And yes, I have received them for previous cons. I expect they'll let me in eventually anyway. And given the way this one's shaping up, an unnecessary wait to register should be the least of my problems. |

Got my code just yesterday. Now I pre-register and get through the registration desk in about 4 minutes. This won't save too much time, will it? Most of the time is spent finding my XXL T-shirt. Lol. |
