The Harford Area Weekly Kriegspielers (HAWKs) are sponsoring the Battle in a Box contest at Cold Wars 2018. See information and rules here: link

The point of this contest is to see who can be the most creative at fitting a full miniatures game into a single box capable of fitting in the overhead compartment of a commercial airplane.

How clever are you?

The contest will be held at Cold Wars 2018. Registrations are due by 1 December 2018 so that we can get them scheduled and posted in the PEL.

The first eight people who bring their registration forms (available here link) to Eric Schlegel in the HAWKs room at Fall In next weekend will receive a FREE 17-liter Really Useful Box for the contest. Boxes available while supplies last.

There are a LOT of creative people in the hobby. Enter this contest and demonstrate your creativity. Putting a 1:2400 ship game into a 17-liter box will meet contest rules, but just how creative is that? We think the winner will be the game where people walking by think there is no way that wonderful game fit in that box.
