Halloween Candy at Fall In courtesy of AOE.

I swear I can never get this right. This year we over purchased on candy for Halloween, so if you stop by my two Hungarian Revolution games (in the Marietta I think) we will have a big bowl of Snickers, Twixt, 3 Musketeers, etc, you can help yourself to (be reasonable, folks).

However, I can assure you this is NOT a shameless ploy to get you to come by and see my game to develop interest in my rules or influence judges, nope nada, nyet, nein, you can trust me, seriously.

I am an elementary school teacher. For a number of years, my school did a "candy for charity" thing, and the class that brought in the most (by weight) won something.

It got a bit crazy. We had kids bringing 50, 60, 70lbs. One kid brought in like 130lbs (obviously families by candy just because it is for charity.)

This always happened the week before Fall In. And I was the one who gathered my class candy.

Usually about four or five pounds of hand picked candy didn't make it to the contest:)

Good of you to be concerned, Colonel Bill. One sees so many poor skinny wargamers at Lancaster who clearly aren't getting enough to eat.

Is the Host designating you their new dining facility?

No, the dentists are paying me off . . .
