For your fantasy or historical armies, do you have painted war wagons ready to play?

(Vehicles with engines do not count.)

Yes in 15mm for the Renaissance

JimSelzer31 Oct 2018 9:55 p.m. PST

had the Warhammer Empire War Wagon along time ago

I tricked out 6 Irregular Hussite War wagons for my Polish Renaissance armies, with board armor for horses and wagons. They were painted blue and yellow for Vasa and red and white for straight Polish.
I crewed them with Hinchliffe Haiduk Infantry with 15mm Napoleon cannons on pins as swivel guns.

I seldom got to play with them. I sold the army to a good home, a gentleman who takes them out regularly for play and exercise. I hope they treat him well.

Once, when I had them, they were in a Warhammer Kislev army.

Sort of. I've got mantlet-wagons (as illustrated in e.g. the Mittelalterliches Hausbuch), some of which I've used as WWg in DBA, but they're not proper war-wagons in the Hussite style.

I have a few 15mm Hussite and Russian war wagons.

Swampster01 Nov 2018 2:11 a.m. PST

Depends exactly what you mesn by a war wagon.

Fantasy.
Orc and skaven in 28mm and a number in 10mm.

Historical.
Celt chariots in 28mm. Assuming they count.
I also have some ww2 german horse drawn stuff in 20mm.

skinkmasterreturns01 Nov 2018 4:51 a.m. PST

I scratch built Hussites for DBA twice, first in 15mm and then in 1/72.

athun2501 Nov 2018 5:49 a.m. PST

I have Hussite armies in both 15 and 28mm with plenty of wagons for both. Also a few for 28mm later Teutonics.

wizbangs01 Nov 2018 9:26 a.m. PST

I still have my Warhammer Empire war wagon that gets fielded every now and then (the logistics of transporting it outside of the Empire for conquest in foreign lands is a bit difficult).

catavar01 Nov 2018 9:39 a.m. PST

Around fifteen; for Pechenegs, Medieval Eastern Europe and Sung China.

Griefbringer01 Nov 2018 9:51 a.m. PST

I have also got an Warhammer Empire war wagon that I obtained second hand from somewhere.

However, it is not operationally ready, being only partially assembled at the moment.

Would the Skaven Screaming Bell count as a war wagon?

The Beast Rampant01 Nov 2018 9:31 p.m. PST

No, though I've always wanted some Hussites.
