"They've been having trouble". Not really Jim , the new website that Pithead were using was taken down due to the high volume of business it was generating as this far exceeded the capacity of the part time hobby caster who owns it. The business is still being run using the old website but this sometimes is difficult to access due to its age and the number of people using it at any given time. If you cannot get any joy with this the contact Phil at Vanilla55@sky.com as he invariably responds to any enquiries. Despite having an old website for the reasons stated above, Pithead has by far the largest range of WW2 models out there because they specialise only in this period and you will find that there are very few armies or obscure items of equipment that they don't make or are planning to make. Thanks Wargamer6. The situation described above sounds like trouble to me. Hope everything pulls through. |

Trouble indeed. They may have the most wonderful figures in the world but if we can't access them then whats the use? I briefly got on, once, at pithead-miniatures.tk but after going to a different page could not access any others, including using the back arrow, and was told site timed out. Using the link you so kindly provided wargamer6 I have not been able to connect having tried numerous times. In each case also timed out. It does no good to contact them directly as, without access to their catalog one can't tell them what one wants and cost is up in the air. |

Using the link you so kindly provided wargamer6 I have not been able to connect having tried numerous times. Thought I'd try that link and I connected immediately. Was also able to navigate to any page I wanted to. Strange. |

Tried just now. Got on. Went to US vehicles. Clicked on specific vehicle. So far so good. But then went to the how to order tab and after a little while same old can't connect. Tried the back arrow and no joy either. And before anyone asks I have a high speed cable connection and no problems with any other site :) |

It all seems a bit hit and miss, with some people having no issues and others experiencing problems. I suppose you could contact Pithead at the above address and ask them to send you a product list. |

It is very frustrating when you want to check items and fill out the order form and it times out. In this day and age it seems odd that a reliable website with a proper e-shop can't be sorted out with costs of less than £15.00 GBP per month. |
