Perrys today announce 28mm Russian Napoleonic figures. Uhlans and an artillery ammo wagon. Thought I would post this here, to beat Tango when he posts onto Discussion Forum (Grin)

Stick the lancers onto sheepskin saddles…are they not the Vistula Legion lancers, which we really really want (to quote a certain girl band…)?

You must respond.

Play the game..

Say "Cool" or "Far out, man" or "Outta Sight" .

How else can we beat Tango to it? Maybe it does belong on Discussion, as there it will surely appear (Grin).

The "discussion" might be how these could become true Vistula Lancers ( and I do not mean Duchy of Warsaw…and I cannot see the coat tails here)

Glad you like them my friend :)

They'll look good as Russians or Vistula Legion!

Very good, I also asked about their horse artillery limbers recently, hopefully not too long to wait…

Tango keeping his powder dry? Maybe he has decided to become Deadhead for a while, and we will shortly get the Argentinian version of him: insightful observations coupled with effusive praise, modesty at his own work and a neat turn of phrase – followed by something which might prompt Marc the Plastics Fan to say 'Liam put the lid back on the glue now …"
But I suspect Tango, that free spirit, doesn't do imitations, and is momentarily roaming elsewhere. I think TMP would be the poorer without him.

You raised a real laugh there. Agree totally with your last sentence.

I am a huge fan of Tango, but I do love doing a "wind up" occasionally (grin). He does seem to take it in good part.

Trust me, we will see these on Discussion, within days.

Prussian Uhlans…clever. Not unlike the Brunswickers I guess. Much must depend on the coat tails….a true kurtka of the more usual coat tail turnbacks of the era?

Quicker than I thought….there he is indeed, bless him.

They'll look good as Russians or Vistula Legion!

Well, that's the Polish readers offended then!
