For your Imagi-Nation gaming, how detailed is your background world? On a scale of 1 (simple) to 10 (incredibly detailed). |

Probably a 2 for the Franconian/ Anglian world; army organizations and a vague notion of geographical relationships, but these are only to generate plausible fictional battles. The Costa Guano 1950s campaign was quite detailed, with a working political system, CIA reports, Desi Arnaz, numerous local personalities, and a lot of player input to flesh things out further. Guess that would be about an 8. Almost forgot the soccer/ football leagues! |

Six or seven. Complete court and courtiers, army and support services, etc. Just haven't (yet) gone back decades to explain the existence of the country and the rulers. |

Slobovia vs. Jerkwadistan is fairly detailed, it is a "what if" departure from Central European history, so history, etc. before the "banch" is part of the background. Real maps, natural resources, technology, economic structures, cultures. Post-branch, there are personalities that drive the action, political alliances, histories of military and political events (that change as we replay that part of its history). So … 5? Hyborian ones are probably at 7 – already came with a fairly rich background. |

Right now 6 – I have a location and history plus a very detailed army list (including facing colours and four completed infantry battalions) – now a map/court, etc. would be good |

Decades old. We used the Strategy One map by S&T back in 1981 and later in 1985. It was a Napoleonic and we also play tested Acient campaigns on it until we us used the point to point movement system. |

The Duchy of Saxe-Huack The 6mm Republic of Prussia The Twin Kingdoms The top two had their own blog with characters, maps and story before I consolidated everything down to one blog. The campaigns are still present but remain idle at present. So I would rate them a 7. |

A solid "10"… I wargame battles from my D&D campaign world. I created it back in 1983, been developing it since then. My players are extremely well versed in its politics and religions. It is very complex and very detailed. After 36 years, it better be! LOL! Cheers! |
