The Assault Group (TAG) has presented on their website the first releases of 28mm miniatures in their new range which they call The Long War, or the 80 Years War.
These figures are Dutch militia from the 1560's-1570's and Sea-Beggars.
Marvellous figures and a must for anyone interested in this period.
At the Crisis Show in Antwerp they will be on sale for the first time.
Pre-orders for this show can still be placed.

These are the best late XVI century figures I have ever seen. They are like Duc says "marvellous" and deserving of tremendous praise. This company never seems to get mentioned on TMP or on other forums and their output is simply put, excellent. There must obviously be a reason for the continuous cold shoulder but ignorant of me, I'm going to put it down to the fact that it is not yet another ACW, ECW, or WWII range.

Bring on the Duke of Parma's veterans is all that remains to be said!

These figures do look tremendous. I agree that TAG does seem to be very low profile. I would have thought that a few posts on various web-sites would have been worthwhile.
