When you start a new period, does it become like an obsession to you? |

Yes. I have often found that I go a bit overboard at first. Planning and buying. I'm learning to slow down. |

Is there any other way to jump into a new period/scale? I become obsessed at what ever project ……..oh look shiny. |

I have absolutely no plans to start a new period…. Oooooh! Shiny! |

Oh, God, yes. However, I think it's part of what keeps the hobby interesting and fresh – always new things to learn and discover! |

I'm certainly learning more about WWII Hungarians than I would have known a year ago. |

Oh yes, I started with the Northern Crusades, Russki's VS Teutonics and now I'm onto the Volga bulgars and Finno-Ugrian warriors! |

No. I've been fairly focused on WWII for several years now. I keep working on my 15mm sci-fi and I've been ‘treating' myself to a small collection of 3 different lines of minis since I got a new job with a very significant pay raise. My regular gaming group dabbles in several different genres/periods but they pretty much have everything needed so I don't need to obsess! |

Not really – more like a slow burn |

Why would anyone be interested in WW2 Hungarians? |

I started 6mm sci-fi in '90 and I'm still "obsessing" … |

Yes it does, though I try not to ignore old projects. |
