"On August 24, 1942, after the first air engagements around Henderson Field and following an unsuccessful attempt of recovery of the airport by the Japanese infantry, the fighting is daily. The Japanese intelligence service has learned that US aircraft carrier USS Saratoga crosses around Rabaul. It must absolutely be destroyed…."
