Any suggestions for a good mid production Tiger I kit? This is the version with rubber road wheels, but the later low profile cupola. Looks like both Revell and Dragon only have early and late versions. So to get the mid version you need to combine 2 kits. Looking for kits so customisation is possible, like leaving off the first outer road wheels, which was a common mod on the Eastern front.

They used to, but is it still in production? If it is the distribution is not good, as all I have found is one kit on EBay in the US and a few prebuilt ones. At all my normal go to kit suppliers it is out of stock.

And Trumpeter too.

Seen mixed reviews of the Trumpeter kit. Anyone built one?

I have a few trumpeter kits, though not any WW2. They look incredibly accurate and detailed and are very simple to put together!

Revell see ms pretty good for the price to me.
Why did you reject it?

Two Dragon and plenty of Trumpeter on eBay UK at the moment.

They don't do a mid production Tiger with the rubber tyred road wheels, but the low profile cupola, only an early and late. If you want a mid production you have to buy both kits and use parts from each. That makes them not so cheap.

I recently read that PSC is coming out with a Tiger I with zimmerit… not sure when it will come out or if the model will fit your needs as mid-production.
