I just wanted to let those Gunboat enthusiasts out there know that we finally released the 1st Edition of Gunboat & Dhow! It is written as a supplement to The Sword and The Flame. As some may know, I'm doing a lot of straight FIW and AWI games using vanilla TSATF.
Would these work for the "bateaux and Gundollas" actions?
Boston Harbor chicanery, etc. They will need 6pdrs in longboats, etc. Of course my buddy also has the Lindberg Robert E Lee with some "modern" guns. |

Hi Winston Smith, yes G&D! has rules for sailing vessels. They were specifically designed to be used with The Sword And The Flame so should work well for you. They can easily be used for any Naval actions. Due to a large amount of interest and lots of questions we are working on items like landings, torpedoes, rockets, etc. As the rules were originally designed with the Sudan in mind we will have more scenario specific rules for other theaters and conflicts.
