Just curious. If sharp edges on top of ruined walls is not desirable when using foamcore, then why are they OK when the material happens to be MDF? I don't see many examples of people giving MDF wall edges a quick pass with a hobby knife (or Demel). So what's the reason? Dan |

Because it's easier to bevel foamcore? |

Unless you have a very expensive laser with a lasering head or laser bed that can angle you are stuck with cutting straight down. |

I´ve only got a couple of MDF Terrain pieces and I removed the sharp edges, Corners of walls/wooden beams, with sand paper.. |

I see no reason. Perpetrators should indeed be shot. |

Oversight -- or lack thereof. Call out the firing squad! They will be shot as soon as Deputy Barney Fife can find his bullet… Cheers! |

Much easier to bevel foamcore. Also, the paint absorbing part of foamcore is the paper on the sides, while it's the cut ends of MDF. |
