I'm working on a unit of Africans in western clothing and I would like to mount them on small Basotho ponies.

My first choice was the old Ral Partha Zulu horse. These are smaller that the European mounts with just a blanket as a saddle and a rope bridle. The problem is the molds have been lost and they are no longer available.

Does anyone know of a small true 25mm horse (pony) that could be substituted?

Thanks,

Vince

IIRC, RAFM horse are close in size to Ral Partha. Take a look at their Plains Indian Wars line: link

I've only ever seen the RAFM European horses and that are a little larger than the Ral Partha horses.

Does anyone know if the horses for the RAFM Indians are smaller?

The Zulu horses are about the same size as the Ral Partha mules.
