I'm sorry if its inappropriate to promote another group here, but I created a group on facebook for all wargamers interested in the Ming military.
After a few hiccups, the group ended up with only a handful of gamers, but instead, it's currently populated by history enthusiasts, some experts, and an artist or 2, so for anyone who's interested, come by and check it out!

Thanks for the "heads up" on this. I started on Japanese several years ago and I am currently working on Perry Koreans. I can see myself progressing on to Chinese eventually!

Yeah, the ming would be a nice range given the variety of opponents they fought. It would even make a good pike and shot range, albeit, more primitive, which would make it interesting. I was hoping this group could help gamers and miniature makers alike on understanding the range.
