Of course. TSATF has always been a 'toolbox' set of
rules, of sorts.

Ditto to Ed. I have used TSATF For ancients, American Civil War, world war one in Africa, plus many colonial variations beyond what's included in the rules. Likewise I have found DBA to be a toolbox as well. There have been articles in various magazines using the rules for everything from ancients to Science-fiction games of the future. There are many variation of the rules for Napoleonic, world war one and two, colonial era, Renaissance, American Civil War, and more.
