Good morning Vietnam! We took a turn to the jungles of Vietnam last Thursday playing 90 points a side in a modified Search and Destroy mission.

Wes, Chris and Tony were the Nationalist forces while Evan and Justin were the Free World forces (both US army). It was dense terrain reflecting the vegetation of Vietnam with some hills covered with trees. Both sides moved out sharply to try to seize the objectives.

Justin's US army Sheridans and M113s took advantage of a road to contest and finally seize one objective in the Nationalist side while the objective on their side was moved from their grasp by Local Resistance team.

Evan moved a good number of infantry out and seized an objective on their side of the table. The Nationalist forces had units adjacent to two objectives on their side but could not roll the required 6 to seize them. The Nationalist T-54s traded shots with two Pattons without any effect.

Two PT-76s were killed but the 3rd passed its morale. 4 ZSU-57s shot up two Sheridans on the last turn with one killed and one bailed, but they passed their check.

A good time was had as we were learning some of the special rules for 'Nam that are not in Arab-Israeli. See you next week for Team Yankee!
