I have a note from 2003 suggesting that the uniform facing colour was dark brown (dunkelbraun) throughout 1792 to 1815, rather than dark blue (dunkelblau) until 1808 as mistakenly cited (Ottenfeld und Tuber, Wrede). Sources cited were Artaria Bilder 1792, Militarschematismus 1796, 1809.
Is this correction still thought to be correct?

Thanks vW – I think it was your own 2003 note I was referring to on Max's 'other' Nap Series forum.
