Another rather one-sided action has been fought solo in my campaign. This involved an allied bombing raid on a Rhodes airfield which had been intercepted by a handful of fighters. Models are 1/600 Tumbling Dice and BTH rules used. Full AAR on my blog grymauch.blogspot.com

Probably posted on the wrong board to be fair, but looks like a good game all the same

Bug?

Serendipity indeed.

Funny how a "BUG" posting can lead you to a site that is quite fascinating and inspiring. As one who never throws dice, but instead collects 28mm Napoleonic figures to paint and stick in the attic, this makes a real change. Something I would never have seen.

Have to reply again.

Again, I am a Napoleonic buff, but I know a Type III Hunt Class Destroyer Escort when I see one. That is brilliant. I scratch built one years ago, HMS Eggesford, a gift for a chap who served on her in the Med, but that was 1/350 scale…easy!

Could a Hurricane fly from Cyprus to Rhodes with any hope of coming back……even with drop tanks?

Thanks for your comments guys. Don't know how it ended up on the Nap message board. Looks like I may have had a senior moment!

Not sure about the Hurricane. The IIC reportedly had a range of 600 miles so probably ok but only just. TBH I just took the original scenario and did not give it that much thought.

Pleased you like the blog deadhead.

Looking at it again it looks like it was a bug. I only posted it on the Aviation board!
