Many years ago I had a Samurai Army. Was wondering if anyone has any unwanted figures? preferably unpainted and unbased. I think they are now owned by Miniature Figurines in UK. Are these the best Samurai minis now?

Walker, you're right about the Two Dragons being available through Miniature Figurines in the UK. I have a few of the mounted Sohei, and have a lot of the pavise defense.

Most of my own collection consists of figures from the Peter Pigs range, which actually mix pretty well with 2D, though not in the same units.

The field defenses produced by Museum miniatures are also quite nice.

I have also purchased some of the Old Glory 15mm figures. I think they're really quite good, but being taller, are not a good mix with 2D and PP. Fortunately they are a pretty complete range on their own

Another option is the samurai range from Legio-Heroica, which are quite nice, and Guiseppe is a joy to do business with:

They are owned and sold by Caliver who also do the Minifigs ranges.
They are a good range though the style is fairly cartoonish. They are certainly worth considering, but since they were produced, there have been new ranges for the 16th century by others such as OG15s, Peter Pig and Legio Heroica. Each of these is good quality, though IMHO would not mix well with each other.

EDIT: Wulfgar beat me to it by seconds!

It is my last remaining 15mm ancients army. It is all Two Dragon. Painted by a professional painter so every Samurai is different in armor or banners.
A large army , I think mounted for a Fields of Glory army. It was mounted for DBM.

Peter Pig all the way for me.

Have a look at Old Glory 15mm. Quite good.

Thanks MB. I believe that the PP ones are the only ones with cast on sashimono. Others count sashimonos as extra castings or extra packs?

Thank you everyone for your advice and suggestions. RN your army sounds great and would love to see a photo if you have one.
