Hi, Having discussed with a few other gamers about which nations should have been released within Napoleonic 28mm, it got us wondering if a 1814 Norwegian army would be of interest? The thought is to go for skirmish poses. Since the engagements were skirmish actions not large battes with linear formations. And ragged/torn uniforms due to a lack in supplies even as basic and bullets and decent gunpowder. Ski troops have in particular been discussed. They would certainly add both dash and color to the table:
What do you think? Would this be too obscure or is there any interest in seeing it released? Ski troops would be a really cool addition.

Many of the Danish-Norwegian figures from Perry is useful for the Norwegians in 1814. But they don't have any skirmish poses. Which I agree is more stuited for Swedish Norwegian wars of both 1809 and 1814. |

A good idea in my opinion. Obscure, perhaps but interesting and colorful. |

The Perry figures are indeed nice sculpts, but I haven't bought any due to lack of skirmishing poses. Some suggestions for poses: - Advancing/running musket at the trail. - standing/kneeling firing & loading. - Taking cover in various positions. - Prone firing? Any suggestions for specific poses or units? Would anyone be interested to participate in commissioning skirmish poses for this army? Steve Barber will do the sculpting. He has done commissions for me before(ww1 range). I am confident he will do an oustanding job on these sculpts too. |

Hello Aebel, the Dano-Norwegian range is an on-going range. I only started it a few years ago so there's still quite a bit to make so you might want to hold on. This range has taken quite a bit of time as I wanted to represent the full period 1801-14 (i.e. with the three changes of uniform) All this takes time so I just haven't got around to everything yet. Thorough research has gone on behind the scenes in Denmark which has kindly been done to get them right. Alan Perry |

I have both the Perry light Inf and Jaeger pre 1814 and they are really nice sculpts for skirmishers. Due to the delay in changes in uniforms, I guess it is suitable to make a few units with these also for the 1814 campaign. Thank you very much Alan for this range, great work! |

Thanks Rittmester, don't worry the later Jaegers and Lights are coming along with more artillery including Mounted Artillery. |

Steve Barber will do the sculpting. He has done commissions for me before(ww1 range). Out of interest, how much does he charge per figure? |

@Alan Looking forward to that :) |
