With the amazing quality of current plastic figures, you wonder why someone would even bother releasing figures that poor.

Pauls Bods12 Oct 2018 8:23 a.m. PST

Just done a search for them…PSR (Server still down) said a new maker? They´ve been around a while now.

LOL.

I guess that, if I was already stuck with them, I might be able to use some of them as statues or even clay "golems". :)

I am not a sculptor and I have no delusion that I could do better, but I am not sure I would be that much worse LOL.

Philotep12 Oct 2018 2:16 p.m. PST

I am no sculptor, but I have the deepest respect for this form of art that I find much more difficult than that of a painter.
Of course, I agree that this minis are far from the best in the world, but I am convinced that it is possible to get a result, at least with some of the poses.
So, even if I am not asked, I would like to second Paul in this challenge.

Remember this one ? Hät Sea People

Or this one ? Hät Visigoth

Or this one ? Mars zombie Pirate

Pauls Bods12 Oct 2018 3:03 p.m. PST

Phil, you are seconded…mind you, have you seen the Price!!? : £15.99 GBP for 24 !!

Now I can see the PSR page, I´ll correct my second post about PSR and them being a new Producer;
"Today we welcome a new manufacturer to our site. Hegemony Miniatures have been around for some time, making sets in very small numbers, but have plans to become more Mainstream"

Though, do resin sculpts Count as plastic?

Philotep12 Oct 2018 3:04 p.m. PST

Er… no, I didn't check before answering :) Too bad, they can be used as opponents again Qin.

I really like the Mars Seas Zombies ! And I never really understood the dislike of the sea people from HaT either – other than they were a bit on the tall side scale wise.

Man, this is Bleeped text sad. Whoever is behind the company is clearly doing it out of love rather than business sense. Sure Bleeped text when you see someone pursuing a dream they are not up to the task of realizing.

A couple of the figures in the RDG set are…ok…
