Okay, I put off doing this for some time. I have made multiple attempts to contact the vendor. I only received one reply stating that the person would forward my query about my order to Michale who is the face (no pun intended) for Minuteman Miniatures. Like many when attending Historicon in July I paid and sat down to have my face scanned for a custom 28 mm of my likeness on two miniatures, a Viking warlord and Chaos Space Marine. At the time of my $70 USD+ payment I was told that it would be around 4 to six weeks before my order arrived. We are now in the middle of October so you can do the math. I sent another e-mail a few days ago (perhaps my third or fourth) and no response. I know that at Historicon the booth was pretty slammed and again the Minuteman Minature booth I understand was slammed at GenCon which took place a few weeks after Historicon. I get it they are a small operation. I also know that unless you own the more expensive 3D printers that printing takes a bit. None of this is an excuse to not respond or inform me of the status of my order. Has anyone else who attended Historcon and had their face/head scanned at the Minuteman booth received their order or are you encountering the same problem? If this is a wide ranging problem then the word needs to go out that this vendor is acting in bad faith. Link to the company below: miniatureyou.com |

Ah, just saw that there was an earlier thread on the same topic. Appears they are a victim of their success. Not a good sign. |

Coincidentally I have just asked them for a refund today. My order was from June. Let's see what their response is. |

I was at Historicon on Saturday. I sat for my scan in the afternoon. I'm being specific about the time in case it's a strictly "order on bottom of pile" thong. No. I didn't get mine yet. |

I think I went Friday afternoon and I got mine and received it 8 weeks to the day |

I just received mine in the mail this morning. My scan was Saturday morning first thing. I had another friend get his figure on Friday, so they are starting to arrive from Historicon. That is all I can say. |

Mine arrived Sunday, October 14. That's about 3 months after the scan at Historicon. |
