I've got a set of Dark Alliance Orcs in the painting queue. I primed them with white Artist's Gesso. They take paint very well with the Gesso primer. These are a fantastic way to build up a fantasy army, for very little money: these boxed set typically sell on e-Bay for around $15 USD-$17, delivered, for 35-48 figures. Fantastic deal! The Caesar fantasy figures are superb, as well. They, too, sell for a similar price point. Even though they are 1/72 scale figures, they work well with 28mm figures, as long as you like your Orcs and Goblins shorter, and smaller of stature, than you Humans. They have surprisingly good detail for injection-molded figures -- more detail than I often care to paint. The box photo's are accurate, so if you like what you see, order a set when they come out, or order another Dark Alliance or Caesar set now. I doubt you will be disappointed. Cheers! |

I so feel that this guys are natural enemies to Stalkers. Mutants, released demons- I don't know- but they need to be on the same table with Dark Alliance Stalkers. |
