"Last Stand Baumal" won his nom de guerre many years ago at the last Brom Invitational Game at Historicon 2005 (IIRC), and it looks like he had to brush up his trophy again. Mind, Jeff might have been able to talk his way out of summary execution, but frankly, I shouldn't be surprised if it turns out he saved the last round for himself! Stout Lad! This will NOT look good in the papers…. TVAG |

Another outstanding AAR Dan. You set up and ran an awesome game, thank you!!! You definitely portrayed the intensity and ferociousness of the battle, well on my flank that is. By the way Allah isn't so merciful…. Cheers, JB (Last Stand Baumal) Patrick, I remember that game well my friend! It was Larry's French Foreign Legion invitational in one of the Colonial Wars Rooms with the private single large table at Historicon. The whole crew was there, Larry, Lori, George, Mark, Gerry, Tom, Chuck, Jay, you, myself, and a few others. I must locate those pictures. Apparently I've a knack for getting myself into very precarious situations, lol. |

Top Notch, and at a convention too – that's a lot to transport and set up! (really enjoyed the image comments) I wonder of you could do the tribal formation trays without lips somehow – maybe have the figs attach magnetically to side-less type stands? |

FlyxWire. Funny you mention that about my Dervish shuttles. If I had more time I was considering thin strips of coco mat to glue to the outside edges. Kind of a dry grass look. Or roughly cut the edges for some scenic effect. And as time for the long drive to the con was running out I had some magnetic sheets to cut out and place inside to magnetize it all. "IF Only I had more time," lol, I sound like Jeff saying, "just a few more turns" and he would have made it out of there. Thanks for the comments! LSD |
