So i glued a resin vehicle together wrong. Anything i can use to loosen the superglue holding it together?

Stick it in the freezer for a couple of hours then try to prise the pieces apart.

Nail polish remover will release super glue

I've had best success with nail polish remover. The freezer trick risks little bits busting off.

Freezer overnight would be my first chose.

Purchase Debonder:

No need to freeze it. Will remove the join instantly.

It is a thin liquid and if kept in the fridge will last for years. My current one is over 5 years old and still works with no issues. A very inexpensive purchase for those oh crapp moments!

Acetone. Nail polish remover is the usual quick convenient source, but it's the acetone you need.

Castrol Superclean will do the job, but it will strip any paint as well and in this case tint the resin purple.

Nail polish has worked for me.

Acetone (Nail Varnish Remover) or hot water.

soak in water overnight, the glue will stretch off.

I've found that dropping my minis usually pops the supper glue right off, sadly.

If you use the freezer method you only have to put the figures in freezer for about 30 minutes.

If using any chemical, check a small spot (or a bit of the sprue it came on) to make sure it doesn't react. Some resin can be sensitive.

Lately my experience has been you simply hand it to anyone under the age of 17. Of course, the rest of the figure might not survive, but the superglue definitely won't. :-P
