Very interesting … Some forget Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, etc., were part of the Axis. In form or another … link

Robert Forczyk had some very flattering things to say about the fighting qualities of the Romanian in his book "Where the Iron Crosses Grow". Apparently they rendered excellent service under Manstein in the Crimea.
