Waterloo by Sergei B. Recently transmitted in HD on UK TV. Beat the DVD hands down. We will never get a BluRay version I fear, so I am glad I saved it! |

Depends on your definition of "Napoleonic Combat"? "Master & Commander" is virtually faultless – the definitive portrayal of life at sea in the Napoleonic Wars. "Waterloo" looks great – if you don't look too closely – and hasn't been bettered so far. |

As I said in the poll. The Alamo (2004)it shows Napoleonic combat better than any other movie. |
