I seem to remember years ago that some folks made a community expansion for the SST minis game that cleaned up the rules some. A few friends and I have dusted off the game and I would very much like this file if anyone still knows where I could get it. All the community sites for it seem to have collapsed ages ago. |

I was a big SST fan, but I'm not aware of the rules cleanup you're talking about. I made an unsuccessful attempt to do a conversion for Tomorrow's War. I have been thinking about doing a cleanup and simplification of the rules like you're talking about but I haven't had the gumption to start on it. The rules work great for the game, but there's just too much. Too many weapons, too many abilities. The air phase is confusing, the indirect fire is dumb. I hope that someone does this. Steve |

Not what you're looking for, but there's the book-style conversion of GZG's Dirtside II: Dirtside Troopers. rlegion.tripod.com/dirtside.htm Just for those with a general interest in the book, as opposed to a specific game. |

There was a conversion for the new rules Mongoose was releasing for Moderns and maybe WWII, IIRC. I may still have the cards for the SST stuff. i'll report back if I do. |

They were for Battlefield Evolution. My files are from 2013 and seem to be corrupted. I am continuing to look. |
