Black Powder2 arrived today, and very nice, too. In with it was a little card saying it was packed for me by Kat P. which was a bit unfortunate.

HAHA that's an unfortunate moniker! How's the new book then?

Are they taking the Bleeped text or what?

Mine wasn't signed by Mr priestley.

Slightly surprised as I ordered it within three minutes of the pre order opening. I struggle to believe 250 people were ahead of me.

Did anyone receive their standard copy signed?

Probably all bought out by collectors trying to corner the market. Look for them on eBay shortly. ;)

Not a big deal to me. Bought a book at a railroad convention a few years back. The guy who sold it to me was the well-known railroad historian who authored the book. For better or worse, didn't even occur to me to ask him to sign it.

Waiting for mine in Texas. I too had my order placed in the first 2 to 3 minutes of order entry being opened up.

Ordered mine and was led to believe I was amongst the first 250, no autograph though. It looks a lot better laid out than V1, but apart from disorderly retreat and being allowed to leave the table and reappear unless shaken I can't find anything different to V1 yet, though I've still to read combat and firing.

Got mine a signed copy. Will dig in while I'm on a plane ride. Should be able to digest rules in flight. Great looking book.
