Hello All,

I am always amazed at all the little projects that swirl around a larger hobby project. My collecting of Dark age Normans is coming to an end. I have enjoyed playing them in several Lion Rampart/Dragon Rampart games. After playing a club sponsored War of the Roses DBA campaign I got to liking the various DBA style games. My dilemma was how to use my Dark age figures, which were based to the GW standards, for DBA. My solution was to create a movement trays to have units of uniform width. These are all made from balsa wood with much cutting and gluing involved.

I have multi based figures and single based figures in the standard 25mm/50mm and 20mm/40mm convention. I selected for my standard Base Width (BW) a 100mm standard. This of course makes for a big play space for DBA 3.0 of 5 to 7 feet. Luckily for me that table in the image is 8'x 5'.

Please enjoy this small micro side project. I hope to run more DBA style games with my Dark age Normans because of these bases being done.

Thanks
