Howdy local Wargamers!
I hope everyone is planning on attending ATC this coming weekend in Springfield OH. If I didn't have conflicting family obligations I would be there too. Our one-day tabletop miniatures event is coming up and if you want to run something let me know soon. There have been some changes to the fort's operations concerning use of the facility but nothing that will cause us any problems. I said more about this in The Herald.
This year we will have two 3hr.. gaming sessions, 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm. Larger games can have a table for the day if the GM gets his scenario in quickly. Lunch will be provided at a nominal cost by the great folks that volunteer at the fort.
Remember this is an open house for miniatures gaming, a place to introduce our hobby to the public while we enjoy a day of tabletop battles. Any type of miniatures game is acceptable. If you have Orcs or Space Marines sitting in boxes this is your opportunity to get them out.
We don't utilize all of our tables we have for Drums for this show so let me know ASAP of you intend to run something.. I don't need the scenario yet, just table needs.
So, enjoy ATC and hopefully I'll see you at Fort Meigs on November 3rd.

Event Coordinator.

Hi Dave,
Yes, 5x6 for the day in your usual location. Send the scenario(s) no later than the weekend before the event please.
Thanks for always helping out!

I give up. What's "ATC"?

Sorry, ATC is "Advance the Colors" the three day flagship wargaming convention of the Great Lakes Chapter of the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society.
CSherrange – Tell your wife this one day event only costs $5 USD, is held at the largest wooden stockade in North America (www.fortmeigs.org) and all proceeds benefit this historic fort of the War of 1812.
Although we are members of Great Lakes, our chapter does not make anything from this event. We do this to support this site where we hold our spring wargaming conference in May on Armed Forces Day called "Drums at the Rapids".
