German and Italian torpedo bombers escorted by ME110's and Fulgore fighters prepare to attack an allied fleet. They are intercepted by a squadron of Seafires having flown off the deck of the escort carrier 'Avenger'. The game was played solo using Bag the Hun rules. I switched to General Quarters 3 for the subsequent torpedo attack on the fleet. This is an action in my Operation Nostalgia campaign. 1/600 aircraft from Tumbling Dice. 1/3000 ships from Navwar and Davco. A full batrep is on my blog

Looks like a lot of fun.

Thanks for sharing your detailed battle report and all the photos of the minis.

An enjoyable read. Thanks.

No need to thank me.

You're the one who did all the work of painting those nice looking minis, laying them out, playing the game, and then sharing your great photos with us.

It is inspiring, and makes me want to do some Med. games now too.

I don't like the fact that it looks like my BoB camo'd Heinkels and other aircraft won't work for that though, and I'm going to need more of them.

It is rather annoying that air forces during WW2 had so many different camo schemes. They had no consideration for future wargamers! I had the same conundrum with mine as I do like the idea of playing BoB but it will mean painting a whole load more of the same type of aircraft.
