My latest civil war travel guide follows Rupert through Cheshire to the siege of Stockport and into Lancashire.
A few (unrelated to the march to York) other civil war places of interest are also added. link

stockport is also home to the 192 bus route, which Mark Steele described as "not so much a bus route, more a travelling theatre"
