"Pulp Alley AAR: Dangerous Liasons" Topic

A hint of intrigue hangs in the air over the Old Quarter this afternoon, as the British Cultural Attaché, Sir Adrian Bullwithers-Smythe, has been spotted sneaking into a secluded location with Madame Véronique la Poulette, the beautiful young wife of the French Ambassador. A scandal in the press would strain relations between the two powers, and benefit the interests of their rivals, the Italians and the Germans. One of the latter, Dr. Hermann Verminlieber and his Projekt 55 group, are even now heading for the neighborhood with a tabloid press photographer in tow, hoping to make that happen. Meanwhile, local girl Vanda Shebad and her Cobra's Kiss league have decided to try to warn the pair of the danger they are in, figuring a couple of grateful diplomats would make useful contacts. Vanda also has a score to settle with P-55 dating from their previous encounter. But before either of them can accomplish their goals, they will have to uncover the location of the lovenest, and that means hitting the dusty streets and alleys of the quarter, and talking to the colorful denizens who dwell there.
