So KT is a game I haven't gotten into yet but I'm looking at as a possible campaign project for 2019.

I confess the possibility of collecting multiple armies (or even multiple forces for one race) without breaking my bank or getting myself divorced has piqued my curiosity.

I've read a couple of reviews and watched a couple of videos so most of my questions have been answered but here are 2 that arent.

#1) What would be the upper end as far as squad size that you could play without bogging down the game too much?

#2) Similar question but applied to table size, how big can you go w/out getting unmanageable?

Thanks for any tips.

I would think that playing 150 pts would be the limit of what would be interesting, however there is one BIG caveat.

It would depend on which types of models you took in your Kill Team.

If you are looking at numbers maybe 20 would start to bog things down with all the back and forth and counters or cards that might be needed.

Table size is different. There aren't vehicles to get people into contact nor are there very many long ranged weapons to kill from distance.

We played on 2x2 mostly but I can't imagine that a game on 4x4 would work pretty well too.

I think the concentration of terrain matters more than the actual size. If you were playing on a 4x4 you might want to allow for some models to sneak up a little further on each side before the game starts.

The main rulebook calls for 100-point kill teams, with a cap of 20 models max per team.

I've made rosters for 10 teams and the biggest has 13models (Orcs and Imp Guard).

When it comes to table size, the more vertical you build, the smaller you can go for your playing mat.

It bogs down pretty quick. You want small forces and small tables. It does not work well multi player
