Okay, fun headline, but seriously a nifty find. Alas, the article itself has some confusing typos and needs a bit of editing, so it's unclear from what's written if this was a gravesite or something else, and the actual purpose of the bronze hand is unknown. (But a prosthetic seems like a good guess.)
I'm curious if there are others out there, or if this was the unique invention of a local master craftsman.

Wish the article had explored the issue of prosthetics in that time made of other materials (bone, wood, ivory (well, not in Switzerland, maybe, at least until Hannibal tromped through)). But intriguing, nonetheless!
