There was a thread not too long ago lamenting the availability of the 15mm ranges. I did email the current owners inquiring about the 15mm, since I'll need some additional MAW stuff, and they said that they could fill some orders, and that thee 15mm ranges would be back up as soon as they built up inventory. They did take about a week to answer me though so be patient.

WARNING! In my opinion, don't get your hopes up. Had Serious problems with him a year ago with their 22mm range. Very unfortunate for all parties. They made good promises but never lived up to them.

I had serious problems with them recently. Complete lack of responsiveness . I dont think they were underhanded but it was a case of utter neglect. I sent them money and got nothing. Had to get a charge reversal.

Confused as to why they said they were going to bring those lines back out once inventory was replenished, when their website clearly says this:

"Unfortunately the 15mm and 25mm American Revolution and 15mm Mexican American War ranges are permanently retired."

That exudes confusion! If the 15mm MAW range has been retired, perhaps they could sell that range to someone else who would keep it alive.

It doesn't help that the easily impressed pound the table for slipshod merchants as unwitting shills for them; presumably because they got their orders filled.

I believe many of them think they're doing good but I look for genuine recommendations here from fellow gamers and I am getting rather sick of either being frustrated or ripped off.

And I do try to give some of these merchants leeway because they are sometimes part-time or one man operations but honestly, this gamer attitude that these people are doing us a favor is wearing thin.

For god's sake if you're a one man operation, say it in large red letters on your hobby site "Warning, I am a one man band and a complete mess, your order may take 6 months or never get filled."

I repeated what they told me, hardly a glowing report or pounding the table. And I did say it took a week to get back to me. Obviously you have problems with folks reporting good service. Sorry I'm not here to take a service poll for you. I reported my experience, period. Take it for what its worth but quit freaking making your back hand comments, they are rude and out of place.

I didnt name you and I didnt mean you. However there are a few people on here who shill for makers because of their one and only personal experience (Which statements Ive also criticized)irrespective of what's going on around them. I suspect some of them are even friends of the owners.

You made an assertion and I made a counter assertion… and then you took it personally.

However, it's not about you but rather about the truth; something I would hope you're also interested in. Please dont take it as an attack, I have no problem with you, you're probably a very good guy, rather I am just tired of getting screwed in this hobby by the seemingly low bar of service expected.

As a matter of fact, I feel you're more of a victim like myself. How else can I rationalize a fellow gamer being delighted that he even ever got his goodies? Gaming is a brotherhood and it bothers me when someone else is disappointed and frustrated.

Next time, please do some due diligence before you talk about great service. Incidentally, that responsibility is mine as well. I have also made posts that XYZ maker is great service just to find out other people have been waiting for a year or more. It's taught me to be more careful about praising a company and sympathetic to people who are stressed about their hard earned money.

And, probably FAA is on the mend, I dont want to make it sound like not answering an email is the end of the world but I do associate a potential rip-off with a lack of communication. I dont know the history of that company but I know I had a different experience.

Trust me, I throw wads of money at this hobby. Further, I love to spend money on talented makers who come up with innovative items. Most of the merchants are good stuff, many painters are unappreciated gems but there are some shoddy businesses who are ruining it for everyone.

This board serves as a meeting place to discuss the merits of various makers responsibly. You had your experience, i had mine and let the members decide if it's good for them to buy from that particular company. But again, please dont take it as a personal attack if I post a contrary experience, it isnt an attempt to undermine you but only a different experience to add to the mix.

I ordered from this vender multiple times and each time service became worse. I want honest dealings when I buy from a merchant. I can tolerate a delay in time as long as I am getting communications. I cannot tolerate dishonesty! I was given a refund after several months and still promised service that never happened. Some people should not even attempt selling miniatures.
