…. Jurassic World Itself Was One Giant Special Effect.

"Modern visual effects are easy to spot when they're creating something you know doesn't actually exist in real life. Velociraptors and T-rexes are obviously the work of talented visual effects artists, but in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, even the island under the imaginary theme park was a digital creation, brought to life on a nearly deserted patch of ocean….."

so?
many sets in the 30's, 40's and 50's were faked as well. You think Skull Island was a real place?

No Dan, he knows the dinosaurs were fake. He's saying the sets and everything else were also fake. Jim answers that as well as your video does. Is that Harryhausen?

I thought those were docudramas… Now I am utterly disappointed. I hoped dinosaurs would make a comeback.

Using CGI for 'sets' is pretty common nowadays. First really done in Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, it's used heavily now. Think of the more recent Star Wars or superhero movies.

And, according to my brother, there are real, live, dinosaurs in Australia today that "they" are keeping from us. When I asked who "They" were, he kind of mumbled "scientists". I laughed.

Could be. Sadly the dinosaurs in the USA were killed off during American Civil War:
