We made a custom 6'x4' tabletop to re-fight Hannibal's trap along the Trebia River in December 218. Thousands of 6mm minis on the tabletop and a fun video AAR showing how our GM tricked the Roman players into not realizing this was Trebia (they did figure it out…when Mago's ambush hit them). It was a closely-fought battle and went down to the wire.

You joke, but it's true! The games take much longer to play when you're taking photos and running two cameras to record video the entire time. We probably could have fought this game in less than two hours if we weren't recording it!

A very well made production.

It might have helped to quickly say what the markers represent.

Thoroughly enjoyable.

The Wargames Development gang have a name for the game where the scenario is disguised as another battle, not that I can remember it.

I watch their stuff but my honest opinion is they don't spend enough time discussing the actual goings on of the game. I still don't know the mechanics involved and while the minis look impressive, would love to see more film of those than them sitting around talking so much. Like what company's minis are they for one?
