There seems to be no image of this set available online.
So could somebody here let me know whether it includes one or two Cossack leaders, or just gentlemen in tricornes like the French generals set ?

Just generals in tricornes – unless they have changed the selection recently.

I did a few un-bagging pics for some of OG's 15mm 7YW range on our club blog , mainly Ottomans but some Russian figures were done as well,Generals can be seen in the link below.

Many thanks gentlemen !
OG missed an opportunity there methinks, but never mind…

I really like OG's SYW infantry figures, but the cavalry horses do not appear to be scaled properly, so the riders look too small alongside their foot fellows.

I simply used a Cossack brigade command alongside the Tricorn wearing ones!

Steamingdave, yes the OG horse problem is acknowledged.
However, while my heavy cavalry so far acquired isn't painted yet, replacing it all with Eureka heavies (keeping OG lights as per Herkybird) is a bit daunting financially.
As a halfway solution I'm thinking of using AB mounts for the OG riders. Has anyone tried this ?
Meanwhile, my friend's OG Austrian cuirassiers, mounted on dark-coated horses, don't look too puny actually.

Herkybird,
that's a neat-looking lot of Cossacks there – and I mean that as a compliment.
Also, it seems we had the same idea, using D4s as disruption markers.

Ahh, a topic near and dear to me, scale sizes and compatibility, yes herkybird, I'm baaack!
I have built a number of Austrian and Prussian cavalry with Freikorps figures. The older Freikorps, we're talking last century here, had issues with small horses but the newer ones seemed to have corrected this. Many contributors here refer to OG, Old Glory I presume. Do they suffer from the size compatibility issue noted with the old Freikorps, and, more importantly, would they be compatible with my current batch of Austrian and Prussian horse? Would Eureka figures be a workable solution, and where can I find them?
P.S. I also like your Cossacks herkybird!
