….Evidence of War.

"Skulls smashed by blunt force, bodies pin-cushioned by projectile points and hapless victims—including a pregnant woman—abused with their hands bound before receiving the fatal coup de grâce

The battered skeletons at Nataruk, west of Kenya's Lake Turkana, serve as sobering evidence that such brutal behavior occurred among nomadic peoples, long before more settled human societies arose. They also provide poignant clues that could help answer questions that have long plagued humanity: Why do we go to war, and where did our all too common practice of group violence…."

They all obviouily were a clan of clumsy people who all at once tripped and fell on rocks or shot themselves when they were cleaning/chipping their weapons.

Or, this clan suffered from group depression and they all decided to commit Arkancide at the same time.

Take your choice. Case closed. grin

Perhaps they just need more stone or club control, you know that the Nation Club Association is really at fault.

Navyvet: "We are a violent race."

Well, ok, but violent compared to what planet? :)

Most things in this planet are violent, down to the plants and microbes.

PS. That said, we typically take good care of our close pack members (human or not), and teach them to reciprocate, so we really are a tiny bit better than most other life forms on the planet in that regard:
