I finished my Sarissa ship. I could of rounded out each end for a proper curve; but decided not to. Maybe I will on another one someday. I am not satisfied with my paint job either. Looks too dark and probably not weathered enough. I do want to thank my fellow TMPers for the valuable links when I posted a question on how to make a tiller for the ship. Especially the link provided on the rigging and the mast.

It came out well; are you planning on adding shields along the gunwales (sides)?

No shields on the side. I had the ones that came in the kit half painted; but decided not to as most of the Viking miniatures have shields. Maybe will someday on another ship.
