After many years, their Kravak miniatures have been totally redone. I like them…

Wow! Those are nice. I missed out on GZG's Christmas deal last year. I know what I'm getting myself for Christmas this year!

Oooh, very cool!

Huh. Guess I need before and after photos. The style looks the same to me.

Very nice!

I could use some new ships.

Wish these babies were still available in the USA, but Jon's service is very good.

Merde, just saw the email from GZG, and Bill scoops me a day's worth…

Huh. Guess I need before and after photos. The style looks the same to me.

Basic shapes are the same; details on the hulls, though…

The new Kra'Vak keep to the rough same design as the originals. Cruisers lower hulls are different design.

There some variants to the DD & FG (Escort & KFP) which Jon has not had time to release at present.

The designs for the Heavier Capital Ships are mostly done but not printed at present, will have to see how they print on a Form2. Have partial designs for couple of Freighters.

Boxy-esque hulls like the warships? Any arms?

I know, I know, enquiring minds and all that.

One is a Boxy Bulk Freighter – hull shape is a best described as a squashed hexagonal cylinder with engines at rear. To save on printing & casting cost the body with be hollow. Had thought about doing design with end separate so could do variants or have two joined together.

A Modular Container Cargo – in 3 or 6 containers clustered around central spine. With Bridge at front & drive pod at rear. Note the intention is to have the containers as separate pieces.

Please note the freighters are no way near finished, need to finish off the Capital Ships and a couple of medium ships. before can finish off the freighters.

There are fighters designed & printed, Jon as not had time to release them.

Thanks, as always!

Although not as big a change as between old style and new style NAC, NSL etc, I like the improvement on these.

@Thresher01

As you say, Jons' service is brilliant. But I thought there was a current US supplier of some GZG stuff, although I can't remember the name of the company, or if it includes the starship ranges.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

billclo30 Sep 2018 10:16 a.m. PST

I've never been able to find any US suppliers of GZG's minis. I wish there were.

@trynda1701: Maybe you're thinking of Eureka Minis, who used to carry the GZG ranges?

trynda170130 Sep 2018 11:16 a.m. PST

@Lion in the Stars

I remember that, but I was sure it was someone else in the last year or two? When did Eureka last supply them?

I'll check my laptop bookmarks if I can about this.

I've just found what I thought I was remembering as a GZG US supplier.

It was actually that Brigade Models had a US supplier, Scale Creep Miniatures. Sorry for the confusion.
