Way too invested at 28mm to start another scale. Which is good considering how much my ‘lead pile' grew with warlords recent $1.50 USD blow out sale… |

Courageous to go 20mm…that'll make some people very happy…and others scratch their heads…I can use a few of those for 15mm. |

20mm is an odd choice, for sure. Not entirely sure about their setting, with no orbital or even air support. A game of fractured stars is typically fought between two players, each commanding a Battlegroup comprised of up to 6 Formations – typically infantry platoons or vehicle squadrons. And the infantry is individually based? ~100 infantry a side?!? No thank you! |

20mm? I like the infantry, but the vehicle designs leave too much to be desired; certainly more than would warrant getting new toys in such an odd scale for SciFI gaming. |

If the Kannids are actually 20mm tall, they would be a good height for Vargr (from Traveller) alongside 25mm humans |

Captain pledge is £80.00 GBP and gets you 48 to 72 infantry plus two light or medium vehicles, terrain, dice, rules, etc. That gets you enough to get well into the game. Of course, we're not sure how many figures are in a platoon. In a far future setting, platoons could be a lot smaller than 40. Three squads of 8 (two fire teams) is plausible. In any case, I'm really sick of all of the "skirmish level" games out there. Vehicles just make no sense in them. Company and battalion games give a lot more scope to show the interactions of various support weapons with each other and with regular infantry, and vehicles begin to be plausible. |

Really needs a better cover, though. That font is terrible, as well. |
