Since Spock hasn't been born yet, it's not really his home planet.

Since Spock hasn't been born yet, it's not really his home planet.

Ah, but Spock went back to 1968 didn't he, therefore, technically, it could be his home planet!

The only way to find out for sure is to have WW3, then have some crackpot in Montana somehow develop a warp drive…

So really we found Vulcan before they found Us!?

Zephyr120 Sep 2018 9:01 p.m. PST

They could tell it was Vulcan from the giant pointy ears sculpted onto opposite sides of the planet by the primitive Vulcan civilization (the ears were later logically converted to radio telescopes to "listen" for other civilizations as science advanced…)

16 light years away? We could be picking up Vulcan TV shows only 16 years old.

Vulcan has been receiving Star Trek for years. Ditto Three's Company and Bowling for Dollars.
And yet….
Our planet is still intact.

TV shows from Vulcan have been picked by scanners on earth!!!!! A sampling of shows from Vulcan include:
The Odd Couple—two vulcan divorcees, one logical the other much less so, live together.
The courtship of Eddie's father—Serek has affection for an earth woman, much to the dismay of his first son Eddie
My Mother the Car-bon atom---

(Your chance to be creative and Name some others)
