In collaboration with UPS- we now offer Home Pick up service for Packages at very low charges.3-4 day delivery to Sri Lanka. For large Parcels charges are lower than Postal charges for some countries. No lost parcels! or Delays! Email us for more details; figures@sltnet.lk miniaturelovers.com |

This is great however some of us live in cities that don't have a UPS Agent or office. I would need to drive for over 4 hours to get to a UPS Agent and home again spending over $60 USD in fuel to get to one! So you need to include your address and other details relating to ‘traditional' postage options when responding to requests to have Painting Commissions taken on. It's frustrating to be told in an email ‘UPS will collect your order from your office' when they won't. |

Apparently UPS WILL COLLECT from my location! Sanath was kind enough to contact me directly after reading my post and has clarified the process. This is very convenient (now I understand the system better) 😁 |

You should ask yourself if UPS will also act as the customs broker. It's been a while, but when UPS acted as the customs broker, you'd pay a duty. |

Yes, They act as custom broker. If there is a duty we pay it. We donot pass it to customer. Even if you send it by Post, we pay a small duty. |

Was there a problem with lost parcels and delays? If so, was it isolated to certain countries or was it widespread? |

I've sent 15 commissions to Fernando's. Not one has gone missing yet though one did get tied up in a Sri Lankan mail strike for about two weeks recently. |
