Just enjoyed a fascinating, but all too brief YouTube video on "Mad Jack" Churchill. Fought the WW2 from 1940 in France to the end while carrying a longbow and claymore (not to mention bagpipes) throughout his service. Was apparently responsible for the only known German battle casualty suffered by longbow. You just cannot make this stuff up. Clearly a well-deserved nickname!!! B |
