Please chime in if you ever got anything from them. I paid for one at Historicon and have received nothing. The fellow called Lord Ashram on the Convention board now claims no responsiblity even though he was the main shill for this. Have we been scammmed? |

I haven't received mine yet either. It was to be me as an AWI General. I guess I shouldn't be holding my breath? If it was a scam, they didn't charge much for a lot of work. A lot of equipment, etc. |

I got mine a week ago Friday |

But I have to say that I was kinda of disappointed in being told after I sat for the scan that it would be 6-8 weeks and 10 more dollars. |

Friend of mine and I both paid for miniatures at Little Wars in April 2018. Mine arrived in late June, my friend's never did in spite of many calls and e-mails which ended with Amex refunding his money at the beginning of September and going after Minuteman. Too bad because I did like the finished product but I feel no need to give any cash to incompetents/slackers/lazy/uncaring (you take your pick) folks. |

Got the Cold Wars ones, but not the Historicon order yet. I would not give up hope. They seem to be having difficulty adapting to the scale of the response. And there's no one competing with them. Yet. |

I'm still waiting for one from Nj con in June. I had totally forgotten about it. |

Got mine a month or so after Cold Wars. I think they are overwhelmed |

At Historicon I was told 6-8 weeks. It is right around the 8 week mark, so still within the time frame listed. |

I would write them a legal type letter to their home address with a "signed for" delivery. That usually gets things done instantly! |

The girl who scanned me while I sat for my portrait was very pretty. Should that count for anything? What I'm getting at is that they seemed to have a good setup. Too good for a mere scam. It's not as if I don't have any AWI generals and this is holding me up. I thought back then that their timeline was optimistic, seeing how busy they were at Historicon. And that was right in the middle of the convention season. I'm patient. |

Hard to follow your logic here. If pretty girls are involved, it must not be a scam? YouTube link YouTube link |

I got mine from Little Wars. It is definitely not a scam. I am sure the guys are just overwhelmed. They did Origins after Historicon, and the combo of those two big shows must have given them quite the backlog. link |

I got mine from Little Wars. They did send a notice out about the 9 week mark informing people of a delay. |

I have to admit that the 'Booth Babes' at Historicon WERE very pretty. I got to watch them all weekend from my PaperTerrain booth :) And they were very busy for all four days. I have no idea what's involved in making the miniature after the scan is taken, but they could easily have quite a backlog to work through. Still, they ought to let people know. |

I don't like the original me. Why the hell would I want a smaller version? |

Hey guys! Yeah, sorry, this is TOTALLY about being overwhelmed, and WAY too optimistic about timelines! I will admit, I am a bit out of the loop with it, because I don't help at all with production and shipping and all of that… I just paint the minis and help sell! I can tell you that this is Mikes full time job at this point, and he is still getting his feet under him, both in terms of shipping but also in terms of emails and communication and the like… I think he is just overwhelmed trying to get the business off the ground, along with all that goes with it. Lemme text him and see if he can chime in with more info, but yeah, if you haven't gotten a mini from NJcon or something that long ago, DEFINITELY email him… mike@minutemanminiatures.com. Historicon I believe has started shipping (but that ran into some delays as we were getting ready for GenCon just a few weeks later.). The actual production of the figures just takes a LOT of time. You can also shoot him a message on Facebook… link For SURE, if you are waiting on an order from pre-Historicon, DEFINITELY reach out, and please pester him… it's definitely not a scam, but it is definitely also a lot for one guy to organize and handle:) Btw, the "booth girls" were just Mikes girlfriend and her poor cousin, who came into country for two or so weeks and ended up spending a weekend at a wargames convention. Poor girl:) |

I just received mine this morning. My order was placed at Historicon. A friend of mine received his on Friday. I would say that it is not a scam, but it seems that they were completely overwhelmed by the response. Si voce veu as meninas, fala que o Gaucho Americano pergunta "Tudo bem?" It was fun talking in Portuguese to the Brasilian ladies. |
